Spring Rain Gear

A lot of people have been freaking out about the crazy change in weather this week, but I was actually pretty excited because it gives me a chance to wear some of the new spring rain stuff I purchased.  

Now I know some of you might think that I copped this outfit from the guys at Street Etiquette, but I totally came up with the same idea a few weeks ago and was just waiting for my jacket from Gant to arrive.  Anyway, I was glad to see I was on the same wavelength as other people.

From head to toe:

• Glasses (Spex Club)
• Rain Slicker (Gant by Michael Bastian)
• Sweater (Levi’s)
• Jeans (Uniqlo)
• Sneakers (Jack Purcell x Mackintosh)
• Umbrella (Swaine Adeney Brigg)

I’m really digging this rain slicker.  It’s super light and I like the faded yellow as opposed to the brightly colored variations.  I was hoping that the jacket would go on sale at Epaulet Shop, but it suddenly disappeared from the inventory.  Luckily, Gant’s US online store finally opened and I bit the bullet and bought it.

I’m also really feeling these “Mack Purcell” sneakers.  They’re great for spring showers like today where you want to protect your feet but don’t want to wear boots.

Anyway, as excited as I am for the weather, it better stop by Thursday.  I really would prefer not to move to San Francisco in the rain.
