Valentine’s Day
I hope everyone had a fantastic Valentine’s Day yesterday. When it comes to Valentine’s Day, I normally see people wearing outfits that reflect the color of the day such as red and pink. I’ve done it in the past myself, but this year I decided to try out a different color scheme.
I recently purchased this Gant by Michael Bastian tweed blazer and really enjoy the glen plaid check pattern with the blue and green overcheck. Not only is it a nice blazer, but it gave me a good color palette to base the rest of my outfit around.
For trousers, I decided to wear my Epaulet New York blackwatch Walt trousers, which I thought went rather well with the blue and green overcheck. I absolutely love the fit of their slim Walt and would highly recommend anyone to check out Epaulet if they’re in the market for some well-made trousers.
Lastly, I decided to go with a purple Drakes cashmere tie. I would have worn my tried-and-true blue grenadine, but I decided that I wanted my tie to stand out a little more. I’ve also started wearing a hat more these days, but that’s a post for another day.
