WIWT - Denim Jacket Edition
I find that a nice denim jacket is a worthwhile investment for any man’s wardrobe. It’s versatile enough to wear with anything from a t-shirt to a shirt and tie and it’s a great staple piece for layering in the fall and winter. Plus, you get the satisfaction knowing that it’s one of those items that looks better as it ages.
I picked up this Engineered Garments denim jacket a little while ago from their F/W ‘12 collection. Made in the USA with selvedge denim, the jacket has been a great transition piece towards fall as the weather gets colder here in San Francisco. I wore this as my first layer of outerwear at the La Cocina Night Market and as the night got colder, I layered my Lands’ End Canvas field jacket on top of it.
If you’re looking for a denim jacket to invest in, I would highly recommend this Engineered Garments number, but it’s becoming increasingly harder to find. Luckily, there are some available alternates including two Levi’s jackets from Brooks Brothers that are on sale.
